I found out that watching the Housewives is much more entertaining if you follow their running commentary on Twitter at the same time. They’re all there – LuAnn, Ramona, Aviva, Carole and Heather – rehashing and trash talking about an episode which was filmed 8 months ago. LuAnn was taking it on the chin by her cast mates and viewers about her alleged booty call with Tomas from DisneyWorld’s Pirates of the Caribbean. I say alleged because I think there are one or two more episodes on St. Barths and I’m still not sure what happened given what Bravo does with editing. It sounded like she was asking for help in a cover up from her friend while she was speaking French on the phone. Heather did confirm that LuAnn woke her up and that she was with Johnny-wanna-be Depp. It all sounds very incriminating. She does have a reputation for being a woman who conducted herself in very un-Countess like behaviors in the past and, tonight, made the statement that she’ll never change. This is a little of what she was tweeting:

So, Tomas gave her a ride home. I don’t see a reason to lie about that. As for whether she would bring someone to a house full of Housewives to have a one night stand, well, that’s a question only LuAnn can answer. There have been stories about her grabbing men when she was married to the Count during parties where there were dozens of people watching. She says that she was with her Italian friends. None of the other women saw or heard anyone who was even remotely Italian. There were voices and they were definitely speaking French. We did see her paying extra attention to Tomas while the other women were doing their pirate show, telling him that she was no ordinary pirate woman because she is an Indian. She’d be better at explaining what that means than I would.
Ramona became engaged to Sonja as soon as they were too drunk to realize what they were doing. I don’t think the engagement is going to last. Sonja was seen whispering in the ear of the butler and I don’t think she was asking for extra spring rolls. Carole’s friend Russ joined the group for a brief while. Carole begged Ramona not to be herself before he arrived. Sonja probably didn’t remember meeting him. She was getting more inebriated by the second and could barely stand without assistance. I don’t think Russ needed all of the warnings Carole was issuing about the group. He’s toured with Aerosmith. Intoxicated women and debauchery come with the territory.
Aviva was on Skype with Heather and Carole, and told them that she would be coming to the island with Reid. That’s one of Ramona’s pet peeves when it comes to any girls’ only events. She made that point very clear to Alex when Simon showed up at a dinner, and she was already upset that Carole and Russ had spent a night together. I think Ramona forgot the fact that this trip was Carole’s idea and that she could invite anyone she wanted. It would have been nice if she’d asked George Clooney.
I took a look at Aviva’s Twitter timeline because she tends to get chatty, and a bit defensive starting sometime during the day on Tuesday. It’ll last for another day or so before she gets tired and quits. Today she was still talking about the Sonja’s dog versus Aviva’s charity brouhaha. During this week’s episode she was blasting everyone about the St. Barths’ trip. Apparently their behavior is beneath her and she regrets the whole ordeal. I guess we’ll have to wait to see what she’s so angry about in a another week or two.
While I would normally post only Carole’s blog, in the spirit of fairness I’ve added Aviva’s so that she could tell her side of the story. She’s not happy.

Good morning Empress. Thanks again for the write ups of these shows. I’m still in listen only mode with them but there were a few times I had to look. I don’t really care what LuLu does in private but really… She’s forgotten that nearly everything she says and does is recorded and video taped. Especially when Bravo is paying the bill. The biggest problem with her that I see is that she thinks the viewers are stupid. She still hasn’t learned that if there’s anything there to find out, it will be found out and broadcast all over cyberspace.
I use to like Samonja, but even they have worked my last nerve. Was it a girl’s trip or not? I don’t know, I’ve never been on one. Never had any desire to go on one either. My question, that I already know the answer to is, did they really need to bring that photoshoot mess on vacation with them?
Just like every other Bravolebrity trip, this isn’t going to end well. Some don’t begin well. None of their ‘events’ end well, they can’t check the crap at the door. It’s been a common thread throughout all of the seasons on all of the casts from what I can remember. They have their moments though I guess so like the rest, I’ll continue watching er, I mean, Listening 😉
Morning mth, I’m so suspicious of Bravo’s editing that I wonder if we’re being played with LuAnn’s phone call. Juicy may not care or remember that he’s mic’ed but I don’t think LuAnn, even when she’s three sheets to the wind, ever forgets she’s on camera. I’ll even go a step farther and say that she would play along with the scripted drama just to make sure she gets more camera time.
Bravo would love another Scary Island and this time they’re serving up LuAnn and Aviva.
As for the “photo shoot mess” – well, have you ever seen any HWs on any of these franchises let go of a good fight, no matter how trivial or banal?
Nope, never seen one let go. Some even span seasons with the arguments. You may be right about lulu, it’s just a theory of mine with all these HWs. I’m on the side of Joe doesn’t care about it one way or another.

Alex said that in her rumorfix.com vlog, that Luann was fully aware that every word she said was being heard. She even said that Luann spoke slowly, knowing that her words had to be translated & the viewers needed a little time to read them lol. Alex has the opinion that Luann is adding some drama to her storyline, and that it is very smart of her to do that.
So now I’m thinking that ol’ Kathy of RHONJ realizes she has to spice up her storyline too, and even Caroline realizes she can’t be too boring…..makes you wonder where does the faux reality end? SMH, who wants to even care about these people on RHONJ anymore. At least RHONY is entertaining!
bsf, Why doesn’t Bravo just admit they’re all soap operas and call it a day? It would make it so much easier for all of us. I’m SMH right along with you. 😉
